Frequently Asked Questions

What type of chocolate do you use?

We use Wilbur Chocolate which is a 150 year old European blend, for our milk and dark chocolates. Our Milk chocolate is made with 34% cocoa and has 5% dark chocolate added to it to give it a more robust flavor and color. Our Dark Chocolate is made with 50% cocoa. 72% dark is available upon special request. Also available is a white vanilla coating and dark mint flavor from Guittard Chocolate. Our chocolate is Kosher Certified. Organic chocolate is also available upon special request.

Are your chocolates foil wrapped and can I request special packaging options?

Foil wrapping is our specialty. You can choose from 19 foil colors for any smooth rounded shape. Pieces with sharp or complex edges are cello wrapped and tied with a ribbon color of your choice. Favor bags can be packaged featuring multiple chocolates per your request. Gift boxes are also available for most shapes. We ask that you contact us for packaging requests and we will send virtual samples and photos via email to help you choose exactly the look you desire.

Can you do custom gift baskets?

We have a very creative gift basket designer on staff that can develop a basket to suit your needs. We aren't limited to just chocolate and snack items either. View our stock baskets to get ideas on what we can do. Tell us your theme and budget and we can develop a stunning gift basket for you.

What is the lead time for orders?

Our chocolates are made to order to assure the best quality. We have over 5,000 chocolate molds. Orders using stock molds and packaging have a 5-10 day lead time. Orders requiring custom molds or dies require an additional 2-3 weeks. We do our best to fulfill rush orders but we ask that you contact us as quickly as possible to be assured that we can accommodate your rush requests.

How do you ship in warm weather?

We ship year round in the most cost effective manner. Shipping to a warm destination and during summer months requires delivery within 1-2 days. We ship in insulated boxes with frozen ice packs. Shipping when the temperature exceeds 85 degrees requires next day delivery. We ask that deliveries are arranged to be made to a business or other location where they will be received and signed for so they can be placed in a heat protected environment. We are not responsible for deliveries left outside without a confirming signature. During summer months, we ship Monday-Thursday to avoid an order being stored in a warm truck or warehouse over a weekend period.

What is the shelf life of your chocolates and how should I store them?

Our chocolates are made to order and have a 6 to 12 month shelf life. Optimum storage temperature is 68-72 degrees in an air conditioned and dry environment. Refrigeration is not necessary or recommended.

Which credit cards do you accept?

We gladly accept Visa and MasterCard.

What is the minimum order quantity?

We have a $150 minimum order requirement.

Can I have an order shipped to a PO Box?

We need a street address for UPS shipping.
